Record Keeping

Charity records are an asset to any organisation: they tell people who you are, what you have achieved and why donors and the public should trust you. In this Members meetings you will hear from experts on how good archives and records management can protect and strengthen your charity's reputation. As the debate around whether charities should be subject to Freedom of Information requests picks up pace, and the scrutiny over charity finances and governance remains heightened, now is the time to ask yourself if you know how your charity manages information, what regulations you need to comply with and how your charity's information management practice can be improved.

CFG supports members in England and Wales with a programme of members’ meetings in each of the four regional hubs - London & the South East, the North, Midlands and South West & Wales.

In response to member feedback, we’ve changed the format of some of the members’ meetings to allow for more discussion and debate between delegates and speakers. Importantly, the meetings will still include our popular networking receptions.

The new format will be rolled out in 2017 at all regional meetings and most of the London meetings. We hope you like it!

This event will have a limit of 35 places.

Terms and Conditions:

Written notice of cancellations up to 21 days before an event will incur a 25% administration fee. After this time period, a 100% cancellation charge will apply. Substitutions (i.e. name changes) for the course booked can be made free of charge.

CFG reserves the right to cancel any event two weeks prior to the event date. You will be entitled to a full refund or given the opportunity to transfer to an alternative date. However we regret that we cannot refund any travel or accommodation costs incurred by delegates. CFG accepts no liability if an event is cancelled or postponed for reasons beyond our reasonable control resulting from an act of God, governmental regulation, fire, war, terrorist activity or civil commotion.

It may be necessary for reasons beyond our control to change the date, time or the venue at any time prior to the event date. If this occurs you will be informed of changes and given the opportunity to cancel or transfer to an alternative date.

CFG reserves the right to amend the content of the programme or the speakers where necessary without consulting booked delegates.
