Enabling members to participate in a dynamic network of charity professionals is at the heart of CFG’s services.
Members can network with other charity finance professionals in a number of ways:
- Find contacts
Search for members who use the same suppliers or have similar responsibilities – get in touch, ask for help, give help to others. Access is for members only, so your details are protected!
- Lunches and receptions
Most of our meetings and events are combined with an informal lunch or reception, giving you the opportunity to network and build contacts.
- Meet with experts from the private sector in an informal setting
CFG has a network of corporate subscribers. Through this, you have the chance to engage with a variety of companies who provide services to charities in a non-sales environment. Meeting subscribers also enables our charity members to build contacts and better supplier relationships.
- Special Interest Groups
CFG facilitates special interest groups which allow members with particular interests related to charity finance to share ideas and information. These groups largely communicate through LinkedIn groups and online discussions, and meet face-to-face several times throughout the year. There is a Large Charities Special Interest Group, a Community Accounting Special Interest Group and an Overseas Special Interest Group.
